Its design allows for easy installation with a stainless-steel ball bearing detent that secures the unit behind the end cap of your shotgun's magazine tube. This mount adds a 1.75" long Picatinny rail section to your shotgun, and the rail faces forward so you can easily manipulate your flashlight's controls and still be able to pump the action without banging your hand on your light.
