JJust like the originals except brand new! During WWII these stocks were used extensively by the forces with their C96 "Broomhandle" Mauser pistols. This reproduction set was designed to the exact detail and specifications of the original ones. Included in the set is the wood butt stock, leather butt stock scabbard, a wooden handled cleaning rod with jag end and a spare magazine pouch.

When used, the Mauser is holstered inside the wooden stock via a hinged backdoor that opens with a push button release. Inside the stock, a metal spring holds the pistol in place to prevent movement and rattle. To deploy and use, the wooden stock would be withdrawn from the leather scabbard left hanging on the soldier's belt. The Mauser is then removed and rigidly affixed to the end of the stock by means of a spring loaded lever that mounts on the backstrap of the pistol.

Excellent quality wood, leather, steel, and uncompromising attention to detail make this fully functional stock set a must have for Mauser shooting enthusiasts and collectors everywhere.
