The Geissele 2 Stage (G2S) was designed to be a high quality, cost effective option of the SSA. The G2S is a 4.5lb. non-adjustable combat trigger that is a precision two-stage trigger and allows precise and accurate trigger control. The G2S is manufactured from the same tool steel as the SSA. Visually, from the outside of the weapon there is no difference from the SSA and the feel and reliability is the same. The G2S however has a different way of holding the hammer pin in place, there is no laser markings, and the parts are only spot checked for MP.

Very Disappointed
While the trigger appears to be well-made, and the packaging and instructions are good, the trigger's performance leaves much to be desired. The take-up is way long, and the break is unpredictable. Sometimes, after taking up the slack, it's as if you hit a stopping point and the trigger will go no further; but if you pull really hard, then it breaks. If you simply grab and 'pull' the trigger, it will work, especially in rapid-fire situations, but if you're trying to hold on a longer-distance target, the point of impact will vary. My other AR has an aftermarket 2-stage trigger that works like a charm and gives me tight groups.
