The Germans have a long tradition of making ammunition for Americans. Fortunately, they are currently in the business of making ammunition that Americans are meant to enjoy firing themselves.

This cartridge is loaded with a 158 grain full metal jacket (the box says “vollmantel”: “voll” for full, and “mantel” for jacket). GECO’s range and plinking FMJ has a flat nose profile for safe function in a lever-action rifle, as well as a steel-free jacket and core for compliance at ranges where bullets that attract a magnet aren’t welcome. You will find that the FMJ’s copper-alloy jacket creates less lead fouling than a cheaper lead round nose bullet might have.
