The forward lead end has 40-inches of travel which can be trimmed down if needed. The 20-inch tail can also be trimmed, making the SBS capable of being custom fit to each user's body. For comfort, the padded neck section is covered with four way stretch Tweave material so your neck won't be rubbed raw while you are maneuvering around with your rifle. There is no mounting hardware included, meaning you can add your choice of hardware if you wish, or you can keep it in its most minimal form with a weight of only 2.7 ounces.
