The Galco Great Alaskan is especially designed for protection in the wild. This shoulder rig can carry a large frame revolver or semi auto in a comfortable crossdraw chest position. This is an ideal position when backpacking or horseback. The system is constructed from premium steerhide. The adjustable torso strap has Fastex-type quick release buckles and will fit most over bulky outerwear. The pistol is held by a glove-friendly retention strap. The shoulder system is pictured with an optional ammo carrier, sold separately.
