The Franklin Armory AR-15 Binary Firing System can dramatically increase the rate of fire of a semi automatic rifle. It consists of a specially designed trigger group and selector that permits 3 modes, safe, normal semi auto and binary. When in binary mode, the rifle fires once for each function of the trigger, whether pull or release. To negate the round that would be fired on release, move the selector back to mode 2 before releasing the trigger.
