Like the tool appears to be very accurate, but the battery dies if left in the tool. Easy enough to fist and the case has a slot for extra batteries so I just remove the battery when I am done using tool if I don't plan on using it in the near future.

These are my first and only set of calipers so I can't compare them to any other brands. That being said, these work great for all my reloading needs. I would buy agin in a heartbeat.

NEAT-O! Picture does not
NEAT-O! Picture does not do it justice. This is a solid tool-hefty. I thought it was really cool that it came with an extra battery until I realized that the one IN the unit was weak and caused the display to flash (a real pain in the butt). Changed it out with the supplied spare and I am impressed with it's precision. I feel I got a good deal.

I purchased this unit abo
I purchased this unit about 6 months ago. I use it daily in measuring gas ports for semi-auto rifles. I checked it aainst the gauging pins we use and found this unit to be as accurate as a $300.00 Mitutoyo caliper or their micrometers. Dollar for dollar, an excellent investment for a hobbiest on a tight budget and still get the best results.

I have been in the market
I have been in the market for a digital caliper for quite some time. When I came across this one I wasn't too sure, 'you pay for what you get'. Turns out that statement doesn't always apply. So far I am very pleased with this product. Well built and accurate, this is just as good, if not better than calipers costing twice as much.
