The Hammer AR10 is a military grade charging handle by Fortis. Machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, the Hammer has a robust design and aggressive serrations on the latch. Easily operated with or without gloves, the charging handle is finished in Nickelene with a Rockwell hardness of 45C with excellent lubricity characteristics. The black nickel Teflon finish is darker than gunmetal gray, but not a true black.

The charging handle is compatible with most 7.62/.308 AR-platform rifles including the Armalite AR-10 and DPMS LR-308. However, it may not work with the following:
