Good quality, cool lookin
Good quality, cool looking holster. The pistol fits snuggly and the large paddle makes it feel as though you're not even carrying. Highly Recommended

After reading the reviews
After reading the reviews I thought 'What the heck?' and bought the holster anyway. When I slid the pistol in place, it pushed the slide back a bit almost to the point where it would have cycled a round (if it was loaded). Trying to free it from the holster was quite a workout the first time.I stuck a small Glock in there to stretch it out a bit, and after 2 days of sitting, its still way to tight. It DOES catch the slide a bit when you holster it but its not as bad as when I first tried it. I have had 4 other Fobus holsters and love them all, they need to remake this model.

This is a great holster.
This is a great holster. I will agree the other comments that it was very tight at first, but after practicing drawing from it, it loosened up some but kept its perfect fitting. I was a little unsure about paddle holster for concealed carry because they seemed a bit baulky and I will admit I have to pay attention to catching it while getting into or out of car. But I think the same thing could be said about all outside-the-pants holsters. Plus, if your carrying you should be cognizant of your firearm at all time anyway. All in all after over a year using it I liked it enought to buy the same Fobus model for my Glock. I'll give it a few weeks before I comment on that one though.

A little trick that works
A little trick that works with these type holsters when they are too tight is to heat the trigger well portion of the holster with a heat gun. Don't heat it too much, just enough to see the plastic start to shine. After that do some practice draws. The holster will been broken in after 2 or 3 draws.

Wow, this is a bad holste
Wow, this is a bad holster. In order to 'break it in' you have to do OVER 300 draws or so from it, and even then its still not broken in. During those 300 draws you really gaff your gun up! I have scratches all over my gun now and the black matt is just sheered off in most places. Not only that but it also ripped off my front sight post in the process! I know a gun is a 'tool' and not meant to be kept all shiny and pretty but CMON'!

I've read the other revie
I've read the other reviews here and my thoughts are that you shouldn't have to scuff up your pistol by drawing a hundred times, nor should I have to use hot air to reform the hard plastic! The product should just work and it doesn't. I've already drawn from this holster about 50 times and its still beyond horrible. Get another holster. FOBUS get a freaking clue and put a button release on your holster instead of being cheap!

I have been looking forev
I have been looking forever to find a decent holster for my Walther, so I bought this (being fobus and all), and, well, still looking. This holster even with a belt on tight would still rather come off the belt then for the gun to leave the holster. Not worth it! Not CTD's fault, however, I would still suggest a universal one.

Can't beat it for the money. Took some breaking in, but not near as much as my P22. Two thumbs up.

Like many folks, I found
Like many folks, I found this holster to be excessively tight at first, right around the trigger guard. My solution was to wedge a pair of pliers into the tight area and apply heat from a hair dryer. This loosened things up and allowed for an easy draw within a few minutes.

Recently purchased this holster. Very good feel when locked into place, gives a nice clicking sound when secured. Somewhat hard to pull out at first, and like the others say, keep holstering and un-holstering for a little while and it becomes smooth as can be, and still very secure. Very good holster overall.

First off im glad i check
First off im glad i check CTD for this holster, i have a fobus for my 1911, and love it. So i decided to see if CTD had one before going to the local gun shop and having them order some other style that i probably would not have liked... lol.As stated in some of the other reviews the holster takes some getting used to. It is quite snug when removing the p22 slowly from the holster... but, i did find that if you removed it at a fast rate it comes out easier.I do agree though, that with time and use it will losin up some and be easier to remove the handgun.

I've searched quiet some
I've searched quiet some time for a holster like this. The P22 seams to be a popular pistol, but a molded paddle holster just seemed to be out of the question. I ran up on this by accident in the CTD master catalog and ordered right away. The light weight of the pistol and holster make for a very comfortable and concealable package. Yes it is a tight fit. Yes it requires quiet a bit of break-in.But once you get it loosened up it is a very nice peace. Would I buy it again? Without a doubt. It was worth every penny.

First off, right out of t
First off, right out of the package this thing is INSANELY tight of a fit on the P22 making it really hard to remove. I checked out the Fobus website and did some reading and started to break it in by repeatedly drawing and reholstering the gun. After about a week and practicing with it it was very easy to use and loosened up substantially! After the initial break-in, the thing is AWESOME.Good: Tight fit, comfortable, very well made and very durable. After breaking it in, it is an incredibly nice holster overall. Nice advantage is the magazine release was still accessible as well.Bad: Until you break it in with a good couple hundred draws it is a huge pain. Due to the tight retention, the trigger guard has a decent bit of scuffing but nothing too bad or noticeable at a glance. Also, as with any holster of this type, there is no room for accessories. Would have been cool if they slapped in a spot for a spare magazine as well.

I just received the holst
I just received the holster today and the problem with it is that it is way way too tight it feels good on your hip and is good for concealment but when you try to draw it out of the holster you will rip the gun and holster right off your hip before you get the gun out. design needs improvement hands down!

The Fobus paddle holster
The Fobus paddle holster for the Walther P22 is not a good selection. The holster does not allow for adjustment once the pistol is located within the holster. Had to return my holster to the dealer as the holster will not allow for reasonable release of the pistol!

Out of the bag, it is lig
Out of the bag, it is light weight and looks to be well made for the money. It is the only fitted holster for the P22 I could find unless I had one custom made. It locks the gun up tight, too tight in my opinion. It is in need of a tension adjustment screw in place of the rivets on back edge. However it would be an easy modification if it does not loosen up or if it wares on the pistol too much. All holsters will ware on a firearm. It fits the hip well, grips well to a belt and feels stable. It has a slip resistant rubberized pad on the back of the paddle that is so thin I did not notice, this is a plus. Would not advise the use of this holster without a belt or any other paddle holster for that matter. Draw wise this holster requires a quick pull not a slow draw, as stated in the instructions. With a few practice draws it is easy to get use to. It does have a front sight channel with plenty of room so the sight does not contact the holster. For the P22 this is a big plus. All in all it is a good buy for the money. 4 bullets taking price into consideration, 3 bullets price aside.
