I had owed Fobus revolver holster one of the best that I owned . Easy to wear and fantastic to carry very easy to draw from . That’s why I am purchasing my 2nd holster .

This item fit my other re
This item fit my other revolvers well. But I purchased it for a Taurus Tracker. It was way too tight. I had to drill out the rivets and add a small washer in between of at least 1/32' then rerivited it back together.

Will this fit the 686+ 5 inch barrel?

Yes this will fit. However, the barrel may extend an inch past the bottom of the holster.
