I must admin, I have only tried three holsters in the less than $30 range, but this one has been the best, in my opinion. It keeps the XD very secure and has a screw to loosen or tighten on your preference. It isn't the greatest of conceal carry holsters, but you do get used to using it. I wore it all summer under tshirts without anyone seeing, so you'll be fine, too. Just be warned that it will scuff up your firearm because it is hard plastic. I don't mind because it is my carry piece, but some people do. It is there to keep me alive, not look pretty.

I own the Springfield XD
I own the Springfield XD and the H&K P2000 as well as the Fobus holsters for both the XD (Modal SP-1) and the H&K USP Compact(Modal HK-1) and I need to say that the P2000 does not fit the same Fobus holster as the XD. If you are looking for a P2000 holster you need to buy the Fobus Holster for the H&K USP Compact Modal Number HK-1. Other then the above discrepancy, I love all my Fobus products and I use them daily.
