The first level of retention is provided by the molded nature of the holster providing superior fit and hold. The second level is accomplished by incorporating a release activated by the index finger during the draw stroke. This is an excellent choice for both concealed and open carry applications.

I own both a Glock 17 9mm
I own both a Glock 17 9mm and a Glock 23 .40S&W. This holster fits both like a glove...perfect with no binding. When your hand drops to draw your pistol your fore finger falls on the release like it was supposed to be there. Draw is smooth and quick. Best quality at a very good price!
