Note from the Manufacturer:
Place the ankle rig and holster on your ankle with the buckle facing forward. Pass the velcro strap around your ankle and through the front buckle, closing it backwards tightly. Make sure to wear socks high enough to allow the velcro strap to mount on the sock to avoid any rubbing issues. Cover the holstered firearm and ankle rig with your pant leg. When un-holstering, pull up the pant leg above the firearm and draw fast and decisively. Discontinue using the holster immediately if you experience any discomfort or are unsure as to the proper way in which the holster should be worn. Prior to using the holster with a loaded firearm, ensure that you have carefully read and understood the operating and safety instructions that apply to the holster series which is a part of the Ankle Rig.

I like this holster
I ordered this product and I believed that it would fit my second generation Kel Tec p3at 380 but it only fits the first generation so now I'm having to go about trying to see if they will credit me so that I can spend that money on something else on their site. Cons: Does not fit 2nd gen keltec p3at 380

I purchased this holster
I purchased this holster to conceal my back-up gun (Kel-tec .380) on my ankle while on duty. Initially, I was pleased with the price and the fit. The weapon snapped securely into the holster and had moderate retension (via friction lock). The material around the ankle is nylon with very minimal padding and was found to be uncomfortable after extended shift periods. In addition, the nylon strap and it's velcro began to wear out after only 4 monthes of use and the plastic buckle shifted to a manner that now makes this holster un-useable. I think if FOBUS re-tools this and adds some comfort / padding as well as upgrading the velcro to MILSPEC, it could be a nice piece. Over-all....save your money - do noy buy.

This is not labeled 1st generation only on the website but when I received it the label on the package says 1st generation only. The holster may be great but I can't use it. CTD should post this info on the product page so people won't order this for a 2nd generation gun. Now I have to pay shipping to send back then shipping again to get the right one. Thanks CTD,or not!!

I bought this style holst
I bought this style holster several years ago for my P32. It's a snug fit for the weapon and there's no need to worry about losing it. I've carried on duty, with jeans, dress pants, and even while riding my motorcycle. I've read the other reviews and must admit I found no faults. The velcro strap holds the holster tight against my boot and high enough to keep it out of the deep snow. I'd consider buying another for any small firearm I purchase.

This fits my 32 perfectly
This fits my 32 perfectly. The holster does take some getting used to, but after that, it is my preferred method of carry.

I ordered this holster for a Kel-Tec .380 automatic. The ad said it would fit both the Kel-Tec .32 and .380. It is nicely made and fit my Kel-Tec .32 (first generation) perfectly. It does hold the pistol out away from the ankle about half an inch which I didn't like as it increased the bulk at the ankle. I would prefer the pistol to be held snugly against the ankle. My Kel-Tek .380 (second generation) has a more bulky slide and this pistol will not fit the holster. A first generation .380 would probably fit okay. I contacted the manufacturer, Fobus, and they do make a holster for the 2nd generation gun and they would have traded me for the newer holster. But, the newer holster costs more money and I would have had to pay shipping both ways. I opted to return the holster to Cheaper Than Dirt, no shipping cost, and ordered another holster for the .380 which they are sending to me with free shipping.

I was looking for a concealed carry holster that was comfortable to wear. The fobus ankle holster takes a bit of getting used to, however it might be the way this type of holster is. It holds the gun very well and it has gone unnoticed as it should. You can feel it move around and there is no way of preventing that. It also leaves black residue on the socks, but washes out easily. I have noticed that the more you wear it the more comfortable it becomes to a point. As an ankle holster it does a good job but could be better in comfort and stability of movement. It requires adjustment frequently when subjected to movement of the leg.
