Great scope, get mord than expected at this price
I copy and pasted Earl's comment because they are right one..I always buy separate rings to get my personal cheekweld, so rings are not an issue to me...yes, the Front flip cap on every one of my Firefield scopes are to loose..back cover works fine...I own several of this brand and series...mount on rifles from 22LR to 308win..perform well on all. Very good price for what you get..I was able to see a hog at 180 yards feeding under an Oak tree at first light..he was down in a canyon so it was still dark under the tree..I was not using the illumination, don't use it. Scope and rifle placed the 150 grain Barnes TTSX right where I placed the crosshairs...Dead Right There..not a single step.. "holds zero and adjust easily . The flip up caps fall off to easily . The rings that came with mine were extra high see thru . And I could not adjust the scope low enough . So I had to buy shorter rings . If it will stay in adjustment I will be satisfied ."

Cheaply made scope, retic
Cheaply made scope, reticle rotates with every shot from a 22. I'd recommend buying a scope from a more reputable company.

Would this scope handle the recoil of a 338? I've been challenged to assemble a budget combo, and this scope seems like the real deal.
Answer:
Yes, it should do fine.
