Good practice ammo.
The original 9APHP Fiocchi ammo was (+p) with a larger hollow point bullet. These have a more pointed and smaller hollow point with a slower velocity of 1175 fps. Still good ammo just not as impressive for self defense. Pros: Cheap accurate and reliable Cons: Not best defense ammo.

On wetpack test bullet did not expand. The HP is very small compared to other HP rounds. Plinking okay, SD heck no.

Tested with wetpack using
Tested with wetpack using 5 jugs of milk, 3 wetpack, the last 2 filled with water and the first having the FBI standard 4 layers of denim. Was 7 feet from the jugs. The bullet did NOT expand, with every jug having a clean entry and exit wound one would expect from a FMJ bullet. I could not find the bullet, but the HP most likely became clogged with the denim and that made it not expand. The HP is very small and not very deep compared to other HPs I have. For plinking, sure; SD, no way would I trust it.

Have heard good things ab
Have heard good things about Fiocchi ammo, so I bought some of this to try in my Kahr CW9. Very good ammo. Functions very well, no problems at all, very accurate, and hits very hard. But I am a bit confused. The ammo pictured is not at all like the ammo I received. The picture is the exact ammo I got through CTD made by BVAC several months ago. As a matter of fact, the BVAC ammo was even in Fiocchi cases with the same style bullet. So who's ammo am I getting here? But the review stands, 4 bullets because the ammo works really well. At this price, I will order some more.

Read all I could find on
Read all I could find on this particular ammo before buying it, after I saw it here at a great price. When it arrived, I did a side by side comparison to the more expensive Remington equivalent. The hollow point shape was, as best as I could tell, identical. At the range, with my 2 trusty and well maintained 9mms, a Kahr CM9 (carry concealed), and Ruger P95 (night stand), this ammo was flawless. Accurate, clean, and best of all, absolutely never a FTF or FTE. Excuse me while I see if they have more available at that price, before you read this.......

Bought this, along with some Glaser Silver. I use the Silvers for the first two rounds, and follow that up with four of these in my FNP-9. They function perfectly with zero failures. Never had a jam or ejection issue. Tested these on a few milk jugs with some denim in front, and had no clogging or anything like what you get sometimes with some of the more expensive 'defense' ammo. Figured I would try these out before spending more than a dollar a bullet for rounds I'll probably never use (hopefully). The Silvers were expensive enough. Very happy with these. UPDATE: Recently tested these in a gel block to further evaluate these rounds. I tested them next to Remington Express 115 gr JHP and without knowing which side was Fiocchi and which side was Rem, I would not have been able to tell which was which. Both wound channels were about the same, and both rounds expanded about the same. Are they as good as Federal HST? No, but are a viable SD load.

This ammo has been 100% d
This ammo has been 100% dependable for 6 boxes. Also very accurate at 15 ft. Great price. Bullets come out strong. Almost +P like. I take away one bullet because they do change their bullets every so often. My latest boxes have the bullets shaped very much like the Hornady Critical Defense bullets, which are attractive, though the do not have the polymer inserts. So, I do feel like they are dependable and consistent for the price, but could stick to one bullet shape to make me completely happy.
