Would have been 5 star but...
And this only applies to my particular type of semi-auto shotgun. They won't consistently work with a magazine fed gun. The end crimps are not perfectly circular, so my gun suffered from FTF and an occasional FTE. It didn't happen every round, but often enough out of 50 shots that it was an irritant. For the round itself.. incredibly accurate - nice tight groups at 12 yards in a range situation. For "regular" shotguns, these rounds would do just fine. Be aware that they are impact discarding sabot rounds. They worked fine in my smoothbore, but might perform even better in a rifled barrel.

Excellent round. Point of impact from point of aim very consistent at 25 yards and 50 yards out of H&R Pardner Pump Protector (18.5' smooth barrel). Did not try at 100 yard range though. Recoil is noticeably lower than regular buckshot/slugs. I'm not a regular shotgun user so I'm a little more recoil sensitive, but these rounds were comfortable to shoot. Punched a nice hole about the size of a 5 cent coin on targets.

I fired this ammo in a Mossberg 500 28' field barrel with Improved Cylinder choke. They grouped well (3'-4' consistently) but to the left and high of my bulls eye. Recoil was low, almost like target loads. For the price they are great for the range, if you are just looking to shoot your gun.

I've shot many boxes of this ammo with my Mossberg 930sx with no problems cycling with this semi-auto,even rapid fire shooting it provided dependable loading and acceptable groups with low to moderate recoil. This is a great price for great ammo.
