This shell’s projectile is a 1-1/8 ounce rifled slug. That’s about the heaviest slug you’ll find in a 2-3/4” 12 Gauge shell, which is another point in favor of its stopping power. The slug’s rifling is solely present to permit passage through a choke. A cylinder choke is inclined to promote this shell’s best accuracy, although nothing narrower than an improved cylinder ought to suit.
