I've only tried these and
I've only tried these and Hornady V-Max. I find the Federals to have a better fragmentation. Just my opinion, though. Being fired through a Savage 93R17.

I got very good shot grou
I got very good shot groups with these bullets, but I had two of them explode in my Marlin 917. The casing split across the back and at the neck. The second time I had to send the rifle back to make sure it was not damaged. I was very diapointed in Federal's customer service department in their efforts to fix this problem. I had to continually call or email them to get an answer to what caused the problem. Finally after six months they told me that the brass was bad. I will not be purchasing anymore Federal ammunition of any type. I expected better service from a company that has been around as long as they have, and is supposed to have good reputation for taking care of their customers.

I have always been Impres
I have always been Impressed with the .17 Hornady and their ammunition they load.So i bought hornady and nothing else for the longest time.Store ran out of Hornady and only had these federal rounds, so i give em a try...VERY IMPRESSED!!In fact i found them to as good as or better than the hornady rounds.Federal is doing a magnificent job on loading these bad boys. Sub-Moa groups.amazing repeatability.I actually was shooting groups under .5 at 100 yds in a vise.Cant possibly make a better round then these..BUY ALL YOU CAN, WHILE YOU CAN STUFF THIS GOOD CANT BE LEGAL LONG!! This is my fav .177 round
This is my fav .177 round on the market. I've tried em all and this one takes the cake hands down. I cant count how many squirrels I've got with this round because its in the thousands. This is the most reliable, best feeding ammo. Does wonders on ground squirrels from 75 yards up to 400 yards!! Gotta love that!!!!

Used this ammo as my firs
Used this ammo as my first ammo on my new CZ452. The rifle had never been shot, and I was using a $20 simmons scope on it, 3x9 x 40mm I think, cheap scope. Didn't even have to zero the rifle, at 200 yards I was hitting sub-moa 5-shot groups I could cover with a silver dollar, and this was with a 7-8mph crosswind! I even hit center-mass shots consistently on a silloute target at 500yards! Great ammo, definitely buying more!

I recently bought a Savag
I recently bought a Savage 93R17BTVS with a Nikon Buckmasters 3-9X40 and used this ammo for site in @ 100yds. No problems of any kind. I consistently shot five shot groups that could be covered with a dime! I can't believe I waited so long to get a .17 hmr

This ammo is good stuff,
This ammo is good stuff, I shoot a 917VS Marlin and just ran 2 boxes of this ammo through this rifle. The groups were sub-minute of angle with the average at .73. I was impressed with the stopping power at 100 yards on full size 6-8 lb Ground Hogs. I had almost given up on rim fires until this 17 Hmr. Hats off to Hornaday and Ruger.
