This round’s 180 grain bullet’s 815 fps muzzle velocity was recorded with a 4” vented test barrel – not a 2” or 1-7/8” – but it’ll still deliver potent results even if your own revolver’s barrel falls on the shorter end of the spectrum. If your revolver has in fact got a 4” barrel, then you can expect over 250 ft lbs striking energy within a 25-yard radius. Not earth-shattering, but plenty effective for defense with correct aim.

This round’s bullet is a jacketed hollow point. It’s not law enforcement grade, so don’t expect nearly as much weight retention through auto glass as you might from a Federal HST.
