Federal Fusion has drastically reduced the gap between performance and affordability. Federal Fusion is a specialized deer bullet electrochemically joins pure copper to an extreme pressure-formed core to ensure optimum performance. The end result is a high amount of terminal energy on impact that radiates lethal shock throughout the target. Designed to handle everything from tactical operations, to hunting and competition Fusion should be the ammo you reach for first.

Having written the above
Having written the above review, it pains me to say this, but I took these same bullets on a fallow hunt and had the perfect broadside shot @ 100 yards. I took the shot, the deer rocked downwards and walked slowly into the woods? Not knowing, I waited about thirty minutes. I walked to the shot location and no blood. Luckily we found him in the woods not far away, but no blood. The bullet broke a rib on both sides and got both lungs, but no bullet expansion. I will stick with shooting pigs with this bullet.

I BOUGHT A RUGER NO. 1 AN
I BOUGHT A RUGER NO. 1 AND FIRST OUTING WITH IT WAS A HEAVY BRUSH HUNT FOR HOGS. I GOT TWO ON THE TRIP BOTH WERE SHOTS THROUGH THICK BRUSH. HAVING NEVER HUNTED WITH THIS RIFLE I WAS NOT SURE HOW THE WHOLE OPERATION WAS GOING TO PERFORM. BOTH WERE SHOT ONCE, AND DIDN'T TAKE ANOTHER STEP. I LOVE THESE BULLETS.
