Hunting Ammo with Bonded Projectiles that Won't Break the Bank

Federal Fusion has drastically reduced the gap between performance and affordability. Federal Fusion is a specialized deer bullet electrochemically joins pure copper to an extreme pressure-formed core to ensure optimum performance. The end result is a high amount of terminal energy on impact that radiates lethal shock throughout the target. Designed to handle everything from tactical operations, to hunting and competition Fusion should be the ammo you reach for first.

Love 'em.
The best value brand out there. Cheap enough to afford but quality enough to be very accurate.

I purchased a new LR-308
I purchased a new LR-308 and wanted to find the most accurate ammo for it, so I purchased several different brands in a variety of bullet weights. I visually examined each cartridge before test firing and was disappointed to see the condition of the tips on the Fusion brand cartridges. The tip of each and every one appeared to be damaged and looked like it had been dropped before packaging. However the Fusion proved to be the most accurate of all the ammo I tested. 1MOA @ 100 yds.

I took the ammo I bought
I took the ammo I bought and with CTD assistance, contacted Federal. After speaking with Gary at Federal he had me send the ammo back to him UPS ground. They tested the ammo and found nothing wrong with it. They sent me back two new boxes of fusion ammo along withtwo test fired bullets from what I sent them. I fired both boxes of ammo. 1 MOA, very consistent. Excellent customer service. I recommend this cartridge.

Received order 1-17-2009.
Received order 1-17-2009. Lot 2-No2 W5701Every single bullet tip was smashed with slag hanging off the tip. It appears that each cartridge has been removed from the shell holder and smahed against the concrete and then reinserted into the shell holder. I can't believe this. Don't buy this ammo until Cheaoer than dirt has checked its inventory of this non returnable item.

I have tried all rounds i
I have tried all rounds in my Savage 308FCP, 24' barrel, 1n10 twist. I decided to try the Fusion 180's and was shocked at the .305 MOA 3 round group it held. It stayed under .5 MOA consistently! Again, I couldn't believe it, but it's the round I will be using.
