I had never used this amm
I had never used this ammo before but decided to try it because of the reviews. I was drawn for the Elk hunt in CO. On the second day of the hunt I spotted a Bull 6/6 at 343 yards with a laser range finder. I was using a Remington 700 SPS 300 win mag. The bull was slowly moving away from me, and it was starting to get dusk. So I range found him again at 357 yards. I decided to give it a try. When I pulled the trigger, he rared up on his hind legs, and fell face down. He never even kicked. The exit wound was about the size of a golf ball. Great bullet and very consistent. I love Core Lokts, but it will be hard to go back to them after this hunt. For the price, just give them a try. I think you'll love them as well.
