This ammo has worked fantastically in my 10/22, lever action, and Beretta M9 .22, and I'll absolutely be purchasing more.
Having shot two boxes of this ammo I didn't experience a single failure to feed or eject for semi auto, unlike Winchester 333 bulk .22 which would malfunction at least once in every single magazine out of the M9.
Very consistent with minimal flyers, and hardly any duds in the 2000+ rounds I've shot. Highly recommend this ammo!
Bricks of .22 LR ammo are great if you only go through one or two boxes in a day. But when you’re dumping tremendous quantities of lead downrange at a time, you really don’t need little boxes slowing you down.
Here’s the answer: the Federal Black Pack, which presents 1,100 excellent rounds of target/varmint .22 LR the instant it’s opened.
This cartridge is loaded with a 36 grain bullet instead of the usual 40. That means Federal spent 10% less on lead while loading this ammo. That also means the bullet gains higher muzzle velocity without generating greater pressure in turn. According to Federal’s 24” test barrel, the .125 G1 BC bullet conserves quadruple-digit velocity until around 100 yards, and strikes the same distance with 80 ft lbs kinetic energy.
The CPHP isn’t just light. It is also plated to promote slightly cleaner performance, and created with a nose cavity to enable terminal expansion. Better yet, it’s made in Minnesota by one of our country’s best. And it’s yours with fast shipping when you order now (or any other time)!
