This cartridge’s bullet is a 110 grain total metal jacket. Its terminal ballistics are fundamentally identical to those of an FMJ. The TMJ is accordingly most fit for the gun range, which it keeps cleaner courtesy of its all-encompassing copper jacket.

The TMJ’s encapsulated base won’t just keep your surroundings and rifle cleaner. It also prevents any part of the core from vaporizing and sneaking inside your lungs. You don’t WANT lead in your lungs, ideally. It’s no good for you there.

This ammo’s primers do contain lead styphnate, but it’s still cleaner shooting than regular FMJ ammo. It’s made in Minnesota with consistent brass cases – just the sort of thing you’ll be into, if you’re into handloading 6mm ARC ammunition.
