The 7mm PRC is a real barrel burner. A good tube can withstand 1,000 to 1,200 shots before it starts becoming evidently worse for wear. Know what that means? It means you’d better make each and every shot count!

In other words, that means you’d better buy Federal Premium’s consummate ammo. This is the heaviest 7mm PRC load the Minnesotan company offers, featuring nothing less the balanced-sleek deadliness of the Berger Elite Hunter.

This round’s bullet is no run-of-the mill HPBT. Its nose cavity is functional, and can initiate expansion that inflicts a truly chasmous wound cavity.

And the Elite Hunter will put that cavity precisely where you want it. Berger’s revolutionary Hybrid Ogive gives the Elite Hunter all the advantages of secant and tangent ogives (aerodynamic efficiency and seating depth insensitivity, respectively). It is also a paragon of velocity, momentum, and stability conservation courtesy of its J4 Precision jacket. It’s drawn as concentrically as Berger can draw it, and contributes to the 195gr Elite Hunter’s jaw-dropping G7 ballistic coefficient of .387.
