Talk about a dream teamup! Federal Premium has loaded one of Hornady’s most technologically sophisticated hunting bullets to date, giving your .300 PRC rifle the power to knock down large game – near, far, or wherever they are!

The ELD-X’s entire design revolves around drag minimization. Its polymer tip’s meplat is flat. More specifically, it features Hornady’s patented Drag Variability Reduction Technology that helps increase drag uniformity and reduce dispersion. The ELD-X’s secant ogive profile and boat tail both achieve the same effect. Its jacket – the AMP – is drawn with virtually zero room for concentricity variation, which adds a good deal more balance to an already exquisitely balanced projectile. (.663 G1/.334 G7 BC)

The ELD-X is one tough nut. Its thick copper shank is anchored to its lead core via Hornady’s signature InterLock ring. It prevents the bullet from shedding most of its weight as it undergoes massive expansion! Federal says expansion can follow collision at velocities as low as 1,400 fps, which this bullet can easily do past 1,200 yards so long as it’s fired from a 24” barrel.
