This barrel is made from a perfect piece of 4150 chrome moly steel with a nitride coated finish that permeates both the inside and outside of the barrel. The finish provides superb corrosion resistance and durability. The carbine length gas system features a gas seat diameter of .750" and you can trust the barrel to be within specifications due to the fact that it is manufactured in house under strict tolerances and quality control. Rest easy when you install this barrel in defensive or personal protection firearm since it has been air gauge tested to ensure accuracy and magnetic particle inspected to ensure quality.
