The Pencil Profile Barrel From Faxon Provides You With a Slim, Lightweight Barrel Option

A Faxon barrel represents some of the finest quality barrels currently available on the market today. This barrel is manufactured 100% in Faxon's facility from concept to completion. Each barrel is closely inspected and tested including magnetic particle inspection and air gauge tested to ensure accuracy and precision performance. Additionally all barrels are checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.

The pencil profile barrel is one you would select should you be interested in trying to produce the lightest weight platform AR possible. Typically with other manufactures pencil profile barrels you sacrifice quality and accuracy for weight reduction. This is not the case with faxon barrels these button rifled pencil barrels feature a 1:8" twist rate and shoot just as good as the heavier profile models.

The barrel is constructed from 4150 mil-spec steel with a quench polish quench (QPQ) nitride finish both in and outside of the barrel. The finish is designed to provide you with superb corrosion resistance and durability.
