Excalibur! It’s not just a magic sword anymore. It is now also target ammunition from Czechia – and better yet, it is real!

Excalibur is made by STV Technology, which traces its roots back to over a century ago. It is a major supplier to the Czech Armed Forces, but makes plenty of noncorrosive and nonmagnetic rifle and handgun ammunition available to the international market as well.

This is standard pressure 9mm ammunition; not NATO, and definitely not +P. Its noncorrosive Boxer primers and double-base propellant ignite to generate a mean chamber pressure of 30,458 psi, which is safely below the maximum threshold specified by SAAMI (STV loads to C.I.P specs, which is essentially the European equivalent SAAMI). Long story short, Excalibur is good to go in all semi-automatics.

This ammo’s 124 grain full metal jacket projectiles do not contain ferromagnetic metals. Its cases are the same way: brand new brass, and worthy of service at a reloading station.

Decent practice ammo
Excellent ammo. I've ran 600 rds through SA Echelon 4.0c, got one light strike, but I attribute that to the gun. Beretta 92fs ran through 400 rds with no problem whatsoever. Clean burning, mild recoil. Compared to Win 115 Steel cased ammo this feels like firecracker in heavy gun, soft pop and mild recoil.
Subjectively my opinion: compared to Rem 115 - I'd pick Remington, to Magtech 124 - it's a par, pick whatever is cheaper, co.pared to Win 115 - pick Excalibur 124 (these).
It has primers on softer side, clean burning powder, very minor residue left in the gun even after 400 rds session
