Tough enough for long term storage, and cheaper than dirt.
Time will tell how it holds up, but upon first look and feel it reads quality to me. Padding is thin, so might not due for a to-the-gills lights-and-lasers AR-15, but perfect for my iron sight sks.

what is the width?  will it fit a bullpup shotgun?

Answer: This case is 9.5" wide... This will probably not fit a bullpup shotgun. I would recommend looking at tactical cases for a bullpup and the case length you need will depend on the overall length of your firearm. Check out item # 2-EVO51285-EV and 2-EVO51298-EV.
