pain in the ----
The two set screws press against plastic plugs that are supposed to press into the Picatinney rail when installed. The two plugs could not be moved in or out and extended into an interference with the rail. I had to hammer the side of the object to get it onto the rail. Pure crummy design.

Man up and pay an extra $
Man up and pay an extra $30 for anything better. The set screws are a pain to deal with, and for a Harris bi pod there is limited surface area between the mount and the base of the bipod. I bought a harris Rota pod for about $100 and wish I would've put the $10 I spent on this towards it.

If you purchase this know
If you purchase this know in advance there are two sets of hex screws in the mount (per side) for a total of 4. The two closest to the rail need to be tightened first. You access these by removing the initial screws you would see if the mount was in place. Then replace the original screws you removed to gain access to the inside screws (closest to the rail when mounted). If you don't wanna spend 60bucks and can live with the hassle of tightening 4 screws this seems to be an OK mount. For 'real life' quick/easy access, on/off of a sling or bipod, spend the extra $$$ and get something else.It is what it is. It works if you want something that you won't remove very often.
