The ERGO Accurizing Wedge eliminates play between an AR-15's lower receiver and upper receiver. The wedge is easily installed by removing the rear take-down pin and inserting the wedge into the rear of the receiver. The wedge can easily be trimmed for a perfect fit in your AR-15.

Have one in all my AR's.
drops right in, but on some lowers, Ruger un my case, the area below the break down pin is shallower than on the Colts or PSAs. So I had to sand off some material. Pros: Makes upper and lower fit tight.

Would buy again
Works on both Anderson lowers I have with 2 different uppers. It takes most of the wobble out. Needed some trimming on one upper combo.

Better than stock, not 100% effective
Didn't completely remove the play in my upper/lower, but with the amount of pressure on the takedown pin I can't see it getting any better. It does make it more difficult to press the rear pin, but if I apply downward pressure to the top of my upper when pushing pin it is just fine. I think for the price of this part it is well worth adding it.

Not sure if it's the best
Not sure if it's the best tool out there for this job but it sure does work well. Considering every O-ring I bought to put around the upper receiver's pivot pin lug, snapped the same day I installed it. I didn't need to alter or cut the wedge to make a snug fit in my lower(Stag Arms Model 1). Worked right out of the package. Not sure on the longevity(if it wears out). If it does, for it's low price, I'd just buy another. I do recommend this product.

Does this work in a dpms ar-10?
Answer:
Probably not. This part installs just below the takedown pin and the AR10 typically uses a longer takedown pin than the AR15.
