The EOTech XPS3 sight is smaller and lighter than the other holographic weapon sights, is night vision capatible, runs on a single 123 battery and allows more rail space for rear iron sights, magnifiers, or night vison scopes.
Features 65 MOA Reticle with 1 MOA dot, waterproof, a shortened base that only requires 2.75" of rail space, battery cap and latch are eliminated and replaced with a simple O-ring, tethered cap achieving better sealing, and the average battery life at brightness level 12 is roughly 600 hours.

OK, they are expensive, but, like most things, they are a little cheaper at CTD. I find the EOTECH work great, ultra reliable, easy to clean, hold up to even automatic fire and hold zero when taken on and off the same gun mount - just be sure to align the same slots for mounting on a rail. Night vision aspect works well with AN/PVS-14 monocular behind the sight. I've had mine for some time and the original battery is still good - so it will work when you need it to. Comfortable to use, accurate, adjustable brightness for all situations, easy to see reticle in full daylight. All around worth the money.
