just in case
I work in machine and truck environment and am always cautious, but things can happen.I was looking for some type of trauma kit in case of life threatening or serious injuries. This would be better than a greasy shop rag for any serious injury, for sure.A little over-kill, but better to have too many supplies, instead of not enough.Hope I never need to use it.

Part of a project
I'm building a basic medical kit for the purpose of stopping bleeding and plugging wounds in an emergency situation before first responders can arrive at the scene of a shooting or other life threatening event. The Asherman chest seal will be part of this kit. This 'street level first aid' does not require a provider to be a doctor or licensed EMT. The kit will ready to hand at home, in my vehicle, and present with me at the range or wherever I go.
