The Fusion Vane by Duravane uses a traditional shield cut, with a short vane's foot print, and a fusion of polymer materials to make a vane with an unlimited shelf life, minimal crosswind interference, and still maximizes arrow stabilization and broadhead performance. Using the more traditional shield cut gives more surface area at critical points in vane while the short vane foot print gives more contact with the shaft for better control. The two different polymers include one clear one for the base and a colored one for the vane itself.
