I got the doublestar A2 shorty buffer tube AR381 by mistake and can't return. Can it be used any other way? For example, can I use it as an AR pistol tube? With or without a brace or anything

It's designed for use only with the ACE entry stock.

Doublestar has not provided that dimension. Note that the tube works ONLY with the ACE Entry Stock. It will NOT work with any other stock.
