Very good deal.
This rifle sling exceeded by expectations. It is versatile in that you can use it as a one-point or two-point sling. There is enough size adjustment available to make it a comfortable fit in case you are carrying the rifle for a long time. A very good deal for the price.

The spring clips at either end of the sling, are they metal construction or plastic?

The QD cup, D rings, and spring clip are all metal. The buckles are plastic.
