Desantis' Best Deep Cover Design For All Applicable Model Variations
In decades of experience from more than I care to recall, I found THE BEST deep concealment quality leather with a powerful and well designed holster for IWB, pouches, pockets, even inside the side panels of body armor for when a reload was going to be too slow and otherwise I'd be going for my knife-I kept my 2'' bbl S&W 649 .357 magnum J frame able to-and did-come seemingly out of nowhere and came out on the right side of situations that made the name Desantis damn near holy to me. Before that much heavier s/s 649 I carried the famed S&W 340 PD Titanium/Scandium .357 mag that served me as well. The changing weights from 14 oz to full stainless and much heavier later revolver made zero difference in performance! For what that original holster did for me over the years I would have paid $100 for it! As an U/C at one time I kept the first round in that ultralight 340 PD I indexed a heavy .357 first and frangible .38 +Ps for the last four. If I would have had such a great design for any compact hideaway in the Marines I'd have carried it then too! As an FBI trained L/E State academy instructor I can't recommend it higher. The spring is as tight as the first day and it has stayed in place even in scuffles and even after one occasion I had to use a high kick. Semper Fi and God Bless
