It includes a leather lining for a smooth draw that also serves to protect firearm finishes. The holster attaches with a neoprene leg band, which is foam padded and sheep skin lined for lasting comfort and extended wear in the field. This holster is to be worn on the inside of your ankle opposite to which hand you will draw your firearm with (a right-handed shooter will wear a right-handed holster and it will attach to the inside of the left ankle). DeSantis' Die Hard features a conventional thumb break for secure weapon retention. The ankle holster is compatible with an optional calf strap and boot extender (sold separately).
