With incredible weight reduction as well as superior cooling, ergonomics, and modularity capabilities, Daniel Defense presents their durable MFR XL Rail System. This AR-15 free float handguard has Keymod attachment points on the sides, bottom, and upper 45 positions of the rail at the 2, 3, 6, 9, and 10 o'clock positions. The top of the MFR XL, 12 o'clock position, is an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail and is ideal for mounting front sights, pressure switches and other accessories. The sleek bolt-up system, unique to Daniel Defense replacement AR rails, increases strength and allows for easy installation with the included anti-rotation tabs. The MFR XL has an increased internal diameter of 1.61" and allows the operator the ability to attach a suppressor. The MFR can be used with a pinned low-profile gas block on pistol, carbine, mid-length or rifle length gas systems.
