CVA's "Northwest Guns" offers tons of modern features, while still meeting the open breech ignition requirements of Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The patent pending NW Ignition System features removable quick release breach plug, for rapid cleaning. This plug doesn't require any tools to remove, even after firing multiple times. Four milled slots make the ignition open to the elements, as required by certain northwestern states. The firing pin is specifically sized for musket caps, and the stronger firing pin spring provide fast and reliable ignition.
