Hello Howie! It is specifically designed for the LCP II 22 LR pistol. Here is the installation instructional video for the very similar Laserguard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1p7-eSHwMw

                            Answer:
Hi there! I can only recommend this light for the LCP II it is designed for. Crimson Trace makes a laser specifically for the LCP. It's called LTG-779. My guess would be that has a better chance of fitting the LCP Max, but I can't make sure from where I'm sitting. I'll ask the manufacturer for their opinion and get back to you.
