The .45 Long Colt is your friend. It is decidedly less chummy to whatever you aim it at – especially when Corbon makes the ammo.

This cartridge belongs to Corbon’s Hunter product line. It has a lighter bullet than you’d want for whitetail hunting, however. Consider it your high-velocity, flat-shooting ally while you’re taking smaller game; yotes, and such. Its lighter weight also suits the bullet for defensive use, when reduced risk of over-penetration is preferable.

The jacketed hollow point isn’t bonded. It’s simply a sterling example of a traditional JHP, which allows its jacket and lead core to peel back as it potentially doubles in diameter. Rapid, uniform expansion is assured by the jacket itself, which is scored inside *and* out to help it split apart evenly.
