The Silver Safety Slug is a pre-fragmented projectile designed to prevent over-penetration and ricochets on hard surfaces. It consists of a traditional copper jacket filled with a compressed load of heavier #6 lead shot capped with a polymer ball that insures flawless feeding and rapid follow up shots. This ammunition is ideal for use in close quarter environments where wall penetration is a concern. It is best used in cold weather conditions where heavy clothing is the norm. NOTE: this ammo is not loaded to SAAMI specifications.
