Working in an office where you can not carry concealed? Headed out after work to a place that does not allow concealed carry? Just because you can not carry does not mean you have to be helpless. With Cold Steel Knives and Tools you can be confident that you have the means to defend yourself even when the rules are stacked against you. Cold Steel has a solid reputation for providing users with the right blade to accomplish any task in any environment. Take a look at their expansive offerings and you will be sure to find the right blade(s) for EDC, Outdoor Recreation, and Work all in one catalog.

There are a bewildering number of throwing knives on the market these days, and it seems that most of them are made out of cheap steel that bends or, in the worse case scenario, stainless steel that breaks. That's why we made the True Flight Thrower. The Cold Steel True Flight Thrower beats the competition by a wide margin. For strength, we use 1055 carbon steel and finish it with a black, baked-on protective coat. This makes for a hard, yet resilient blade that will "bounce-back" from any throw. And for versatility, the True Flight Thrower has a utility edge that will stand-up to your toughest chores.

This is by far the best knife I have ever owned, and I am going to order another one. I had one 10 years ago and it got stolen during a move 4 years ago. I have broken or bent every other throwing knife I have tried, except this one! It was an amazing tool that we used for any and everything, extracting people from cars on fire calls, hunting, chopping trees, camping, throwing, using to dig out stuck vehicles, and prybar. You name it, we probably tried it.

I got this today and I am very pleased with the knife. ItuFFFDs got a shaving sharp edge right out of the box, but then again what do you expect from cold steel. The feel of the knife has a good balance that speaks survival and defense. the only down side if any are that the grip is a bit small which is great for small hands like myself, but I can see it being a problem for some. The sheath that mine came with was nylon which is ok, but you have to be careful not to cut the sheath taking the blade in and out. This also makes it hard to put the knife on a vest being that there is no holes or loops for 550 cord. I would prefer kydex but that would likely raise the price, but the option would be nice. All in all a great blade. You wonuFFFDt be sorry.

Through throwing, I've destroyed the Cold Steel shovel and damaged the Vietnam tomahawk, but this knife took the abuse and showed little wear. The weight and thick spine is impressive. It's also a superb hard use utility knife. Like the previous reviewer, I too cut my hand on the knife. Badge of honor!

I bought this product bec
I bought this product because i was had many throwing knives that wouldn't hold up to being thrown. and i gotta say this is the best one i own. its got the weight and the feel of a fighting knife plus the weight and balance of a good thrower. i had someone drop it by mistake and it didn't just bounce off the carpet like any other knife but it stuck a good bit in the floor. as for the durability its a tough knife.the only issue i had was the factory point was too needle like but after taking it to a file and a wetstone even if u trow it at concrete the concret takes more damage than the knife. I PLAN ON GETTING SOME MORE OF THESE!! even cold steel themselves sell these knifes for more than cheaper than dirt.

best 20 dollars you could
best 20 dollars you could spend I have used it for throwing and it is superb and to add to it if you had to throwit for defence or anything it has enough weight so that you can still cause amage without sticking it. I use it as a make shift hatched and shovel when I need to the tip due to the throwing is no longer sharp but that can be easily fixed with a file and about five minutes not real damage to tip or blade

I have used this knife ma
I have used this knife many, many, times and have been very happy with it. Oddly enough, I do not think I have used it as a thrower but once. The main use this knife gets is for yard work and heavy duty destruction when needed.I have used it to destroy and remove old rotten and sticky plant and tree stumps and root balls 'battoning' it with a eswing mason hammer. When we replaced our fence we tied to dig new holes for the posts. Every spot we dug we ended up hitting two generations of concrete from other, older, fences. We used this knife as a wedge to break out the old concrete by hitting it with a 10 lbs sledge (pretty stupid in retrospect). We beat the living tar (?) out of this knife. The spine of the blade took a beating and shows it with dings and dents. The edge and the tip, however, took absolutely zero damage and the coating is surprisingly intact.Needless to say, this knife would make a great hard use / emergency knife. It is thin / easy to pack and incredibly inexpensive.
