Own A Piece of Texas Ranger History
In 1846 Texas Ranger Captain Samuel Walker approached famed and then bankrupt firearm inventor Samuel Colt to create a revolver to replace the issued single shot pistols in use by the US Mounted Rifles. Their collaboration brought about a large saddle mounted revolver that was powerful enough to dispatch enemy soldiers as well as their horse. This firearm became known as the legendary 1847 Colt Walker and had a limited production of 1100 revolvers for military and civilian use.To commemorate the first 200 years of the Texas Rangers, Cimarron is proud to bring back the legendary Walker with another limited run of 1100 finely made Uberti reproductions. This reproduction features a similar finish and markings as the originals and is an excellent piece to add to any black powder firearm or Texas memorabilia collection.
Please Note: This is the blackpowder revolver only. The decorative case and accessories are not included
