Looking much the same at it's predecessor, the Model 1858, but improved for the still new metallic cartridges gaining widespread use, Remington released the Model 1875 New Army as competition to Samuel Colt's Model 1873 Single Action Army. Known to be carried by outlaw Frank James and Texas Ranger Bill McDonald, this classic revolver was every bit as accurate and reliable as the much lauded Colt.
