Jams gun on every reload
Every time I'd load a fresh clip, one of the rounds would jam my 1911 before I could empty it. Literally every single one. I'd hate to rely on this clip in a self defense situation. Do not buy. Cons: Guaranteed to jam your gun before you empty it.

Got a cpl clips about a year ago, haven't had a sgl. problem
I use for range shooting and have experienced ZERO problems. I bought a replacement/spare clip at one of the big stores and it ended up being to Long for the pistol. It wouldn't lock in place. So was USELESS. These clips are nearly OEM, and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone ! Pros: Perfect fit, smooth loading Cons: Personally I've found no cons or negatives!

I'll not buy another Chip
I'll not buy another Chip McCormick magazine. I didn't realize all this brand seems to use is the old tilting metal followers. No wonder I'm having occasional feeding problems. Push down on the front of the follower and see for yourself. It tilts. Now check out any other brand. The follower goes straight down. I'll stick with polymer self lubricating followers from now on. Specifically Wilson Combat or Mec-Gar for the range.

It's o.k. I got it because my ACT mags were said to be cheap. I have found that they are actually great! The McCormick is not as well designed with the follower, but the biggest issue was the fit. It was way too tight Gov. 1911 .45. Would not drop out of the pistol when release button pushed. The dimensions are a little on the big side. Sanded and buffed the front and back of the mag and polished. Used Super Blue and it now functions like it should and drops away with ease! 10 for me 5 for Chip!

I bought two of these and
I bought two of these and ran about 50 rounds through each of them through my Ruger SR1911. Zero malfunctions!!! These magazines also fit flush to the bottom of the gun so it makes the gun a little bit more concealable. Very sturdy construction. Highly recommend these magazines.

Bought 3 of these to test
Bought 3 of these to test. Loaded them with 8 rounds and let them sit for 3 weeks, then went to the range. No fail to feed in 3 hundred rounds, all drop free without a problem from my Colt series 70 1911. Will buy more.
