You can't beat CCI. I have a Caltech 22 Mag very fussy. But it burns through this ammo like nothing else. And it's hard to beat Cheaper Than Dirt prices

Best cartridge for a .22 Savage rifle
I bought a .22 Savage bolt action rifle for target practice and this brand is the most accurate out of all the .22 WMR cartridges. 100% fire consistently with accuracy. It turns out Savage rifles are picky and not every brand works that well. CCI does and they have a good price point. Pros: Every shell fires with accuracy Cons: finding them at retail outlets. STOP HOARDING!

This is the best 22 mag ammo out there. The first fox I shot dropped dead in his tracks at 120 yards. Do not use the maxi mag plus 5's. They never group when trying to sight your gun in. You do have to make head shots though, as a 22 mag just isn't going to being much down with a shoulder shot, immediately anyways.

I have well over 5000 rounds of this and without spending a fortune on the fancy ammo, this does just fine and hits with great impact. More energy than 30-33 grn stuff at 100 yards, nearly as accurate if not AS accurate.I like the Winchester super X also, just as good as this stuff. and keep a lot of it around.
